Dr. Michael B. Smith, ND, MS
Dr. Smith is passionate about transforming the health of individuals and their families, from the youngest of children to the seasoned of our elders. He believes healing is possible and is most efficiently done in the context of the family unit. Dr. Smith particularly loves working with pediatric patients and is enthusiastic about setting up the younger generations for the greatest health and vitality for decades to come. His work is grounded in natural-based modalities while embracing whole-person, whole-family healing.
Dr. Smith received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) where his clinical training focused on primary care medicine and integrative cardiology, dermatology, and mental health. Prior to that, he received graduate training in epigenetics and neuroscience. He is a regular teacher, writer, and speaker in multiple venues.
When not in the office, Dr. Smith loves spending time with his wife and two energetic children, continually learning, making music, and being outdoors. He also loves family history and genealogical research and incorporates that hobby into his practice to help better understand individuals in the context of their genetic and family stories.
